NOTE!!!! This is bottom balm for Mother, not BABY... I think it is for hemorrhoids... I accidentally bought it thinking it was everyday balm for baby, so after I took one out of the pack, I realized what it was... I never got hemorrhoids, so I don't know if it works.

I can't rave enough about Earth Mama Bottom Balm! I recently gave birth and found that my pregnancy hemorrhoids got even worse postpartum (didn't know that was even possible!). The commercial products/witch hazel pads they gave me in the hospital did nothing to shrink them or relieve the pain for three days. When I got home, I started using the Bottom Balm, and within a single day I felt a ton of relief and the hemorrhoids had shrunken in half! The Bottom Balm feels absolutely wonderful and cooling, too. I'm recommending it to every pregnant and postpartum mom!

I have had severe hemorrhoids due to chronic constipation that started in my first trimester. I have tried everything over the counter and even some prescription remedies from my OB and none have been as effective at relieving the pain as this balm. I buy extra jars now for my pregnant friends (and even a few who are not) that are having the same difficulties with this unpleasant condition. I first apply the Earth Mama Bottom Balm and then use some cortisone creme to reduce the swelling.
Also a plus - it smells really good and doesn't make you stain things like the Preparation H does. Get the one ounce jar for your purse, and the two ounce for home.

After my first child's birth I was swollen and discovered a ruptured stitch from a second-degree tear. While ice soothed some, I knew that I needed something more. I saw Earth Mama products on line and ordered the Postpartum Recovery Kit. The Mama Bottom Balm was part of it and boy did it make a difference. It soothed, cooled and healed me in no time. During my second pregnancy, I discovered hemorrhoids. The prescription cream did nothing. I remembered having some of this left over and even though it was past the due date, I was had heavenly relief after a few days of use. I ordered two more jars in addition to another Postpartum Recovery Kit in preparation for the time following this delivery. It is a must have product.
