I bought this based on other customers 5 star ratings and I am absolutely amazed at how well Moom works! It is everything it claims to be: gentle, efficient at hair removal, easy (EASY!!) cleanup and also easy on the wallet! I use it on my upper lip, bikini line, armpits and legs. It's great!

Happy that this product is organic, so there isn't a reaction with my skin afterward. Also nice because you dont even have to heat it up to use it. I never did. Its a bit messy though, gets everything all sticky, but my hair doesn't grow back for a very long time, keeping my legs smooth--and i have some pretty thick hair.
I would recommend this product.
I can't believe it didn't work for me, this sucks!

To give you an idea of who I am, I am a Caucasian woman with fair and very sensitive skin. My hair grows fast and grows in black.
I have never used any type of wax before but I got sick of shaving and wanted to give this a try since it's natural. I bought it and read the instructions many times and shaved and waited 2 weeks for growth like the instructions said and attempted to use this wax.
I put it in the microwave for 20 seconds (10 wasn't long enough) and applied a thin coat to my leg and used it. It didn't hurt and I looked at the strips and I saw hair. After I was finished with one leg I rinsed it off and touched my legs only to discover that I felt a ton of stubble and light hairs, like it missed a bunch or broke them off. I was so disappointed. Not one part of my leg was smooth and hair-free. It LOOKS hair-free, but it doesn't FEEL hair-free. I waxed it correctly too, it's not rocket science. So I know it wasn't my error. I gave up and shaved the other leg, as well as the waxed leg.
Now for the armpits (I actually didn't shave for 2 weeks in order to use this crap). I followed the instructions exactly, even used baby powder, and waxed part of my armpit. I looked at the strip and saw a bunch of hair.......then I look at my armpit and it looks like nothing changed. I was dumbfounded. I see hair on the strip, but it looks like I didn't remove any hair. I tried a bunch of times all over my armpit trying to get it to work. I used a total of 5 big strips, and 4 little ones, on ONE armpit. Trying and trying and not getting any good results. I even started bleeding a little bit so I stopped. I shaved the other armpit instead of attempting to wax it.
I have no clue what I did wrong. I even watched an instructional video on how to use the stuff. I thought I was being professional but I did not get smooth results. Not to mention I kept having to microwave the damn jar because it gets thick fast. It's also extremely messy and leaves a hard honey-like substance on your counters, it's tough to get off. It washes from skin easily, though. Also the cloth strips it comes with suck. Yeah you can wash them, but they dry crinkly and curled!
If you have any idea what I might have done wrong, PLEASE comment.
great for do-it-yourself

I have used moom for almost 10 years. It is great and easy, and if you are only using it for your face one jar can last for a couple of years. It is easier on the skin than actual wax.
Wow...

I'm wondering why anyone would still use wax when this stuff is available! I heated it in the microwave for 20 seconds on 20% power - perfect timing. I had to stir it up a bit to get the right consistency, but it was just like warm, thick honey. I can't smell any lavender in it - just smells like caramelized sugar - yummy. It worked just as well as my wax, and oh, so much easier to use. Warm water cleans up everything - i doubt I'll have to buy another kit for a very long time. My skin (upper lip) actually feels softer than usual...nice treat. You absolutely can't go wrong with this magic potion - I am hooked.
